Vancouver Island Crisis Society – Provides support for people having serious mental health difficulties, including thinking about harming themselves. Includes a number that anybody can call at any time, 24/7. They also have text and web chat options, available in the evenings.
Victoria Mental Health & Substance Use – Provides treatment and services for people with mental health and addiction issues. Some of their services need a referral from a doctor, but others can be accessed by calling or walking in.
The Victoria Youth Clinic – A multidisciplinary support service center for youth aged 12-24. Supports range from walk-in counselling to sexual health support to psychiatric aid and much more.
Citizens Counselling – Affordable, accessible volunteer lead counselling sessions for adults residents of Greater Victoria offered on a sliding scale based on family income.
